Toothpick is recognized among the UAE Future 100

Toothpick

Toothpick is proud to be recognized among the UAE's Future 100, alongside fellow innovators from the Hub71 community.

Thank you, Hub71, for the continued support, and for fostering an ecosystem that empowers startups to innovate and make an impact.

What the recognition is for

The Future 100 highlights companies building in the UAE that are expected to shape their sectors. For Toothpick, that sector is dental care, and the work is unglamorous: getting supplies to a clinic at a fair price, getting a treatment paid for when the patient cannot cover it in one visit, and putting a clinic's booking and storefront on a phone.

None of those three problems is solved by a single product, which is why Toothpick is built as an ecosystem rather than one tool.

What Toothpick has built

Three things sit around the clinic:

  • A marketplace. Clinics order consumables, instruments, and equipment from local distributors through one account, with one invoice and a delivery date they choose. How clinics buy supplies on Toothpick covers how that works day to day.
  • Financing. Toothpay lets a clinic offer patients an installment plan from more than one provider. The patient pays the provider; the clinic is paid up front and does not chase installments. Toothpay Business does the same for the clinic's own stock purchases.
  • Healthtech. A clinic app and website under the clinic's own name, with booking, chat, virtual visits, and a small store built in.

The numbers behind it

Toothpick started in 2022, after the founders saw clinics across the MENA region held back by supply problems, financing gaps, and offline buying. The about page records where that has reached:

  • 4,000+ clinics served
  • 450+ distributors on the marketplace
  • 10M+ in dental supplies delivered
  • 50M+ in financial transactions
  • 120+ strategic partnerships with healthcare industry leaders

The company operates across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, and Lebanon, as well as the United Kingdom.

Not the only recognition this year

The Future 100 arrived in the same stretch as two others: Toothpick joined the NVIDIA Inception Program and won the Startup World Cup Egypt regional at Techne Summit Alexandria. That story is in We're taking Toothpick to San Francisco.

Recognition is useful mainly as a signal to the clinics deciding whether to build on a platform. We remain committed to advancing healthcare through financial and digital solutions that support clinics and improve access to care.
